Today we went to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) here in Los Angeles. There was an exhibit by an artist named Urs Fischer. Here are a few of the pieces:

Thousands of “raindrops” suspended from the ceiling

A Close-Up of the Raindrop

A Full-Sized Cabin Made of Bread Loaves

Interior of the Cabin

Front Door

A Different Angle on the Raindrops

Looking Through the Raindrops at the Cabin

Three Huge Pieces of Distressed Metal

There was much more in the exhibit. These were simply a few of the pieces that I found compelling. If you live in LA, then a trip down to MOCA is well worth your time. If you want a sensory experience then head on down and see those raindrops and that cabin. Very interesting. The big metal pieces – three of them – are actually pieces that I would buy if I had that kind of money. I LOVED them.
Hope you all had a great weekend. I am more rested after a lot of television and then 12 hours of sleep.
Thanks for your kind words, my friends. I appreciate them!
