A Must-See: Searching for Sugar Man

If you haven’t seen this documentary, I suggest you figure out how to make that happen as soon as you can. You will be better for it.

Rodriguez is a man transcendent. He has worked as a laborer all of his adult life, except for a period in the early ’70’s when he recorded two albums. Little could he know that those albums, which were busts in the U.S., would play a major role in South Africa in uniting people against Apartheid.

This is an inspiring film for anyone who works hard to be genuine in their art and in their life.

Don’t take my word for it. Go see for yourself.

This will cause you to ask yourself what you are working/not working for and why. Questions that can only make you a better person once you sort out the answers.

Superbly directed and produced. What else could you ask for?
