I specialize in short stories, poetry, personal essays, memoir, and college essays. With my guidance, many of my students have won writing contests and/or published their pieces in literary journals, anthologies, magazines, or e-zines.

Many of my high school and college students

have been admitted to their first choice undergraduate and graduate schools due in

large part to their superlative personal statements and college essays.

Sessions are conducted either in person in

Los Angeles or on the phone/Internet.

Congratulations to Daughter Sarah

Sarah learned today that she won one of eight spots in a family medicine residency program at Glendale Adventist Medical Center here in Southern California. Glendale is right between Burbank and Pasadena and is a highly sought after area to live in the LA area. The residency program is associated with Loma Linda University and is highly competitive. Needless to say, we are thrilled that Sarah has been rewarded for her hard work by acceptance in a fine program; we are also very happy that it is close to home.

Congratulations, daughter, for this accomplishment. You have worked very hard to get where you are and you will be an excellent physician, I have no doubt.

Hooray that you, Gregorio and Luna don’t have to move far away. Now we can be available to help over these next three years while you complete your residency.

I couldn’t be happier for you or prouder of you.
