Today, my beloved niece, Leslie Leatherwood, married the love of her life, Haley Broussard, in Hawaii. These two young women are loving, kind, beautiful and decent. I can not express my joy that they have found each other and have the opportunity to declare their love and commitment in an official wedding ceremony. Hallelujah.
With Sarah’s near-term condition, I didn’t go to Hawaii for the festivities. As one of the support people for Sarah, i was needed here just in case baby Niko makes an early appearance.
Alas, I am so sorry to miss those wedding vows. Sometimes when people get married you just know this is the best match possible. That is the case with Leslie and Hayley.
My love to all my family that was able to make the ceremony. I – and the whole CA family – are there in spirit.
