I am just back from Midnight Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle, Hollywood. I was part of the acolyte corps and it was a real pleasure working alongside my fellow acolytes for a Mass that was so beautiful. We arrived 2 hours early just so we would be appropriately trained for the Mass and it was worth it. Everything went off without a hitch and that’s good since the church was full to overflowing with people. The music was beautiful and the sermon was thought provoking. All in all, this was a grand way to begin Day 1 of the 12 days of Christmas.
