I specialize in short stories, poetry, personal essays, memoir, and college essays. With my guidance, many of my students have won writing contests and/or published their pieces in literary journals, anthologies, magazines, or e-zines.

have been admitted to their first choice undergraduate and graduate schools due in
large part to their superlative personal statements and college essays.

We went to Ojai last night and I was unable to post because I had not downloaded the WordPress blog app. I have since done that so I am playing catch-up.
Here is what the moon looked like from the darkness of the orange grove last night. We were there to water our trees so the grove was filled with moonlight and the soft sound of sprinklers. Lovely.
