I specialize in short stories, poetry, personal essays, memoir, and college essays. With my guidance, many of my students have won writing contests and/or published their pieces in literary journals, anthologies, magazines, or e-zines.
Many of my high school and college students
have been admitted to their first choice undergraduate and graduate schools due in
large part to their superlative personal statements and college essays.

We are having a wonderful time up here on Ojai. Lots of cooking, food, family, friends and fun. My internet connection is sketchy so this will be short. Let it suffice to say this may be our new tradition. So much more relaxed then cooking for three days and then hosting inside an actual house!
Off I go to sleep on a very cold night here with a nice brisk breeze. Looking forward to getting under the covers.
