I want very much to write about my trip to Mexico, but every time I try I find myself writing too much. I could write a 100 pages on this trip. So, in an effort to be succinct, I am going to combine pictures with commentary.
Here is the house where we stayed by the beach:
Here is the beach outside the house:
Here I am with all my girls
Here is Ray with Gregorio and Ron
Here is La Bufadora or the “Blow Hole”
Here is the fish market in downtown Ensenada
Here are delicious fish tacos that we ate near the fish market
This is the fishing port in Ensenada
Here is the coffee stand where Gregorio’s brother works
Here is the family with me in the shadows taking the photo
Here is Ensenada from above the city
Here is my laughing family
Here are our sweet parents-to-be
I had one of the very best times I have ever had on this trip. My children planned every step, cooked every meal, cleaned up after every meal, and treated me with absolute love and kindness for my 60th birthday weekend. Gregorio was the perfect host to show us his beloved Ensenada. My only regret is that I forgot to take pictures of his parents and brothers, all of whom were welcoming and gracious. We are blessed to have such fine people as part of our family and our darling Luna will be cherished by all.
I am a lucky woman indeed to be surrounded with such love. Thank you to all for memories I will savor for years to come.
