We had two little visitors last night and tonight we are up in Ojai. We will be here for a couple of days working.
Luna and Nico were a pleasure as always. Poor little Nico has four teeth breaking through at the same time so he was a champ considering his low grade fever and sore gums. Luna was happy to build castles with her blocks and play with play dough. She even requested another bath today after having one last night. She and her three rubber duckies were busy for at least an hour!
Nico has also begun eating regular food in addition to drinking breast milk. Sarah continues to pump and send bottles for him. My poor oldest daughter. She works so hard to do what is best for her kids despite her grueling residency schedule. I know she is counting the days until she graduates from this program and works only eight hours a day like normal people. God bless her!
Anyway, I was going to say that Nico is eating everything that is not tied down. I think he must be in a major growth spurt because his appetite is truly voracious. Or maybe this is just how little boys eat? I have not had the pleasure of knowing about that having raised three girls.
Here are a few photos of the kids. They are such little sweethearts. We are so lucky to have the chance to keep them overnight fairly often.
