Ray and I have gone to Paris many times…stayed on Rue du Bac near the Musee D’Orsay and enjoyed the ambience of one of the world’s most beautiful cities. I am saddened tonight to hear of the attacks innocent Parisians have endured from what appear to be terrorist factions.
Violence directed at ordinary citizens who are going about their everyday business or out for the evening for a little fun is cruel, unusual and cowardly. We, as civilized nations, need to figure out how to unite and stand up against such targeted hatred.
My heart goes out to those who are suffering today and for the families of those who are injured or have been killed.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
