Quick and Easy Peach Cobbler

Here is a recipe I can highly recommend. I made this today and it is easy, easy, easy and also fairly quick. It is a modification on a peach cobbler using a can of crescent rolls as your lower and upper crust. Yum. It bakes up fast, too.

Directions:

Put 1/4 cup of honey into a saucepan along with 1 1/2 tablespoons corn starch and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Mix up while on low heat. Add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, then also add an 8 oz. package of frozen peaches. Cook on low heat until the peaches are soft. This will require constant stirring so this doesn’t burn.

After the peaches are soft and the mixture is thick, turn off the stove. The is the time to break open the crescent rolls and spread a layer on the bottom (after spraying with vegetable oil), add the pie filling, cover with the rest of the crescent roll dough, then crimp the edges.

Cook in an oven that has been pre-heated to 375 degrees.

Wait about 20 minutes or until the top and bottom are golden brown.

You can eat while still warm.

Delicious.

Let me know if you try it. I’d love to hear what you thought.

Happy eating.
