Baby Luna came to visit today. We had her from 8:15 am until around 4:30 pm. So much fun!
Ray and I treated her just as if she were one of our little girls, which means that we just threw her in the car and took her wherever we were going anyway. The result, Luna went to Smart and Final, to the car wash, back to Grandma and Grandpa’s house for fun with the dogs and with lots of plastic containers, then over to see our friend, Ian, and his mom and dad where we sat and chatted, then headed to a restaurant for lunch. What a champ this little girl was, rolling with all the punches and being good-spirited the whole day.
I thanked Sarah for letting us take care of Luna.
Sarah’s response was, “She’s available every Monday and Friday.”
Ha. I suppose we’ll have to think about that. Having little Luna around is like taking a shot of Vitamin C and B12. You can just feel your health improving since there’s so much smiling and love going round.
Here is Luna when we picked her up:
Here she is playing with lots of plastic containers in a cabinet that is all hers when she visits.
There surely is a lesson in fun derived from simple pleasures. Maybe I need to go explore that cabinet myself!
