We are in our last days in Sherman before heading back to LA on Thursday. We are very busy trying to wrap everything up before leaving. So, tonight’s 20 minutes a day post is going to be brief since it is already 12:01 Central Time and I am sore need of going to bed.
Here is a picture of our beloved Anabel who is the daughter of our dear friends, Darrah Dunn and Shann Schubert. She is a homecoming nominee and tonight, believe it or not, was the homecoming parade for homecoming, which is THIS Friday. Very early in the year here, but apparently the band in Sherman is aiming for state this year and requested an early homecoming since they’ll be participating in many contests over the next months.
Here is Anabelle with her buddies, which includes Marshall Reid and Sam Pitts.

Sherman has a traditional homecoming parade with the kids sitting on the back of convertibles. It is small town Texas just as I remember it growing up except we had 3 homecoming nominees and Sherman has 50. A little different, but not THAT different.
And with that I am headed to bed.
