Thank you, Texas State Senator Wendy Davis, for having the courage to stand up for a woman’s right to choose today. Thank you, Supreme Court, for acknowledging that all people should have the right to marry who they choose.
Choice. That is what today is all about. We, the people, get to make our own choices in reference to our reproductive rights and our romantic relationships rather than the government deciding for us.
Today’s actions demonstrate our country’s commitment to freedom for its people.
I am very proud of all those who have had the courage to stand up and fight for these inalienable rights. Hurray for you. Our country is a better place because of your willingness to let your voices be heard.
