We have spent today in low key recovery mode from our almost 1500 mile road trip from LA to Texas. This included sleeping fairly late, eating, taking a nap, visiting with a few friends who dropped by, and attending a party this evening. Now we are snug in our bed with the hope of a normal night sleep.
The weather today was chilly and gray. That was okay by us since we wanted to be holed up in the house anyway. Lyon House can feel very cozy, especially on a cold winter day. I was glad to just settle into a comfortable chair and enjoy the warmth coming from the heating vents.
